Don Bosco Home gGmbH in Viersen is a residential child and youth welfare centre that has been caring for more than 100 disadvantaged children and young people with empathy and passion for many years.

Young people from the age of 6 months to 21 years who come from difficult family backgrounds or need support in other ways are cared for here.

Many of these children carry a heavy rucksack. They have experienced physical and sexual violence, come from desolate family backgrounds, have experienced mentally ill parents, addictions or have been left alone in the family.

Here we try to cushion this heavy rucksack; to let the child be a child again.
The Don Bosco Home not only offers young people a safe home, but also educational care, school support and numerous leisure activities. Here they find a loving environment in which the children feel secure and where their individual needs are recognised.
